Default Shipping info request on 170073

Estate purchase....My first Colt 1911....I am not up to speed on military 1911...Reblued, I think...Thankfully the smith that reblue it, did not buff it out...Double diamond grips, not cracked, in good condition...P H barrel....No idiot scratch...Wrong mag...The entire gun was blued over a lot of nicks on the frame and slide....Good Trigger...It has the " h " at the rear of the slide....And the letter z, under the firing pin retaining plate.....Very small spots of rust, here and there....Thank you gents for any info you can give.....regards

Your Colt was shipped to the Commanding Officer at Springfield Armory on July 26, 1917 in an 800 pistol shipment.

True original military pistols never have an 'idiot scratch'... maybe a GI scratch, but never one of those......
