I have a Springfield 223895 and a Rock Island 169022, do ether show up in this data base?

armydog, I suggest if you request help with info, you ask in a respectful way....I would have put your question this way....Would it be possible if I can request a serial number check?...I did check your numbers and there is No Hit for either one....regards...

I apologize, I meant no disrespect to anyone on the forum, very sorry if you took it a such. I guess I just wrote it as if I were with friends, setting at the club and having a discussion.

Everyone is known to each other for a good long while.The data bases accrued by members took years ,some 40 years.
Most SRS records ,held by members, are in paper form,so they have to be looked up Volume by Volume.
Looking up serial numbers takes time ,no one here ,I suspect felt Disrespect,were just an older and slower forum
Being pleasant goes a very long way here.

She's got a 1-09 barrel Randy, real nice bore and it head spaced right on the money. I still have a lot of work to get her 90% correct but i'll get it done in time as money and parts become available. The stock is going to be the hard part, I may just go with a Boyd's for now and do a little work to it so it looks correct.
