What are some opinions about this stock?

Circle "P" stamp on left side of pistol grip looks too crisp. All else looks good to me....

It looks like it is a USGI stock but the circle P looks like a fake stamp. That is not the normal place to find an added P they are usually below the trigger guard. I would want to see the other stampings better the small crossed cannons look to good they are usually hard to see and it is odd that the seller does not mention the circle P. Buyer beware!!! There were original replacement USGI stocks that did not have the crossed cannons on the bottom of the pistol grip they just have RI over a 3 also a late '44 stock would have steel gray rivets not brass.

The stock and hardware appear to be ok, but the pistol grip looks like a replacement.

A proof mark on the left side of the pistol grip is from a rebuild at RIA.

I thought the "hollow" core rivets were a sign of after-market leather replacement. --Jim
