Default got this at a recent show, what did i get?

It's a mark one 03, has a black, R marked sight, a black (blued) bolt w/ an r mark on the cocking parts and under the bolt handle (remington?) it's that wwII park that looks green when oiled. Fingergroove stock and a 9-19 SA marked barrel that guages new and the bore is as clean as any new kreiger i've put on an m14 or AR-15. stock is a fingergroove that was obviously had a repair at the tang of the reciever area. It's been lightly sanded and cleaned up a bitSome old geezer at a table on the other side of the show I know who's a collector of these guaged it and checked headspace offered to buy it on the spot. I got it from some guy desperate to sell for 500 bucks outside the show. What can you tell me about it?

Nice Mark I with an early single bolt 1903 stock. Id say the stock is probally worth half of what you paid. Should be a great shooter, congrats!

JSA is J.Sumner Adams, who worked at Springfield Armory through 1920. Nearly all Krags had his (script) inspection stamp.

Really? Cool. Tell me about it? Is or was it an arsenal rework? was it a parts gun w/ that early stock. How long ago? Curious to know it's ownership tree. The Barrel looks correct for the era. It guages NEW. Gotta be a story here.

What's the bolt? an A3 remington I'm guessing, but it's blued.
