Default Value of 410 Lee Enfield

I was curious to know what the approximate value of the 410 Enfields are....

The one I'm looking at is a matching numbered one with bright bore. The right side of the receiver is marked G.R.I 1942. On the stock it's marked
    D
    T (Arrow) E
    (W)

    The left side receiver is marked 410 R F I 1947......
The magazine "plug" is wood and marked with the same stamps as the other parts.
The asking price is 300.00.... Is that a fair price?

It all depends on what country you are in.
Low price in the U.S. higher elsewhere.

    Default .410 Conversion

In my opinion, unless the gun is in remarkable condition, it is about two times what it is worth.

I owned an absolutely MINT Ishapore marked (made on purpose for .410) .410 single shot. It was fun and I used .444 Marlin brass to shoot all kinds of stuff. Again, the nicest one I have EVER seen. I ended up selling it to Joe Salters ( http://www.joesalter.com ) for 225.00 best I can recall. I suspect, knowing Joe, that he sold it for a good bit more.

Bottom line, most of these things are in Good to VeryGood NRA condition, at BEST. 150.00 for NRA good and 200 for NRA VG would be tops likely.

Very accurate estimate as to what they sell for in the Midwest.
