Default Nikita Khrushchev's Quote at the U.N.

"Your children's children will live under Communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept Communism outright; but we'll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won't have to fight you; We'll So Weaken Your Economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands."
    ~Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

OK, I had to just type it in instead, but it's word for word.

Want some real irony? After 70 years of trying the Soviets failed in their attempt to spread communism worldwide. Their entire economy collapsed in the late 1980s the Soviet Empire broke up and Russia isn't a communist country anymore. They are probably more capitalist now than we are.

Sooooo what happened? After it failed there we're adopting it here and the Rooskies are laughing at us. Even though things are far from perfect in post communist Russia, they have good economic growth, low unemployment a positive balance of trade, a balanced budget (in fact a surplus,) and a rational tax system which contributes to all of those things.

The Soviets failed to do to us what we're busily doing to ourselves.
