Bought a Auto Ordnance WWII style M1 Carbine today

I know not original WWII but modern.I wanted acarbine for shooting and WWII re-enacting.And an original is something I would want to mess up re-enacting.I got it for $489. Also put A WWII Springfield Armory M1 Garand on layaway,so I got something from WWII too.

That's a decent price for the Auto Ordnance if it is their WW2 model with flip sight and type one barrel band.

Thats the one I got.It is used in like new condition with all the accessories.Another dealer had one in same condition for $625.

I have heard good things about recent ones. When they first introduced them they had quality control problems with subcontractor, especially stocks. Hope she is good to you. They were also over priced when they first came out. I am glad to see that that seems to be corrected also. Green mountain makes their barrels, so it has potential for good accuracy. I like the WW2 configuration.
