1918 Lithgow, sporterized. Sights (including windage adjustable backsight) are present and the barrel is not cut but will it need front stock and all furniture as well as an extractor spring. The bore is sharp, and metal is parked with appropriate patina (not new park-ing) which tells me this is/was a 1950s FTR. Seems like I have an extractor spring somewhere, but the piece is priced at $169. Seems a bit chesty to me, but then again this IS an early Lithy and the Lithies ain't been on the primary market since the early 90s.
1) How difficult will restoration be? I have understood that SMLE forestocks require custom fitting.
2) Is this piece worth restoring?
