Default Inexpensive target sight for the No4

I have seen and have bought several of these Redfield adapter plates that fit the No4 or No5, then I use a nice Redfield sight. Plates have cost between $10- $25 ( $25 was for one new in the package ). Redfield sight was $25.00

So for $50 or so you can have a nice "target" sight for your No4 or No5

Default I don't know off the top of my head

I'll dig it out and see what model it is.

I bought one of the plates when Brownells was selling a repro several years ago. I have a Williams FP-71 sight, intended for use on the Winchester M71 rifle on mine, mounted on a No 4 Mk 2 that I took out of the mummy wrap. I'd like to pick up 1-2 more of the plates if they're available anywhere.

If I can find even one more plate, I'm going to see about having a few made.

Default My plate that is new ( not used and still wrapped )

is from Brownells by the package is marked by Redfield. Th paperwork with it from Redfield says to use the FP-71 sight.

Mine sight is marked OM on the back. I have a Redfield makred No. 70BRH that will wor but will have to drill and tap another hole as the spacing is wider on that sight.

Wow, I like that set up. I see Brownells no longer has them. Any idea who might still have some?

    Default The first plate came

from one of the forums, sigt was from one of the auctions.

The "new" plate came from Ebay. I had two like the one already mounted on he plate but sold one off sometime ago.

I have thought about getting some plates made , just might do that.
