    Default M82 scope replica

Just got in my Gibbs M73B1 replica scope.

I must say, my hat is off to those snipers that used this scope in wartime! What a tiny scope with low power and field fo view. But I guess this is the best available at the time. I can only imagine what they would have given for a modern "sniper" scope.

Also, does anyone have a source for lens covers for those iny lenses?
The objective measures .75" and the eyepiece .963".

I think this subject was discussed in a recent post. There was a man who sold replicas on eBay, but it seems he quit. They were about $60 if I remember correctly. Take some measurements and have your local saddle maker make a set. Good luck.
