Default Finished My Retro XM177E2 or model 629

Built this puppy up and pretty happy wiff it.I used a bushy chromed heavy cut to 11.0" and put a 4.5" XM177E2 flash hider and grenade ring for the XM148 on the end. Also used a NDS 603 upper and DPMS lower with DPMS LPK.Got the Colt 6 hole CAR grips,AI pistol grip and Colt 2 position CAR retractable.Am starting to work on a couple retro's in 20" length XM16A1 configurations.

I just finished one to with a barrel assy.and fake moderater from Paul at 330-503-2298 youngstown Ohio. First rate wilson military chrome lined 11.5" barrel .625 od and nice welded -pinned repro moderater that works fine with out any more muzzle blast than a standard M4 16" barrel.

hope you did the paper work on it because by your numbers it's 15 inche long barrel, bolt face to end of brake need to be 16'' , a tad more is better or its a sbr

I'm in NY state (outside NYC) and would love to build one of these. I think I know the deal with NY's AWB still being in place, so in order to have one like the OP's, I would need a pre-ban lower, in order to have all the "evil features" correct? Or does the AWB not work that way? want to keep it %100 legal.

that is one nice looking piece...

too bad you couldnt have had the 'safety fence' around the mag release milled off to match the 'slick side' lower of the early guns...

    still a nice piece
