The serial number look up is available to members only, or you may be lucky enough to find someone who is a member to do it for you. Some folks also documented some of the information when it was available to the public and may share the info. The books as well as a CD sold by SRS when Frank Mallory was the owner have some SAA numbers. Most of the Artillery models were alterations of original 7 1/2 inch pistols, but the records noted the Artillery models.

Johnny, do you know when the last volume was printed? Was it Vol. 4? I'll have to dig through my stuff, I think I have Vol. 3 from about 1990, surely outdated info for the most part by now, with all the recent findings in the past 20 yrs.

I think the last book was printed some 10 or more years ago. The information in the old books will not be outdated, just not up to date.
