    Default Colt M4 carbine...

There is a really fine article on this weapon in this month's American Rifleman.
Did you know that the upper on the Colt LE6920 is stamped M4? Can you find the stamp?

Mine has a Diemaco(Canadian built) upper and is stamped M4 just above that X shaped hole where the gas tube enters the upper receiver. Also has a Diemaco carrier and an Elcan optical sight.I dislike the round forward assists so since I had an original Colt teardrop in it's sealed factory package I installed that too.

Best ammo I have found to date is the SWISS military ball that the Swiss Government supplies to all the sanctioned Swiss rifle clubs around the planet.Cupro nickel jackets and real tack drivers they are too.JR
